OCTOBER 2009 NEWSLETTER FIRST EDITION

Welcome to all the members of my new website....I am glad that you found our site and hope you enjoy all that it has to offer. In this edition of the newsletter I want to talk about the Brazilian Keratin Treatment I offer by American Culture called Simply Smooth. I am so excited to report that I have done several on different types of hair and all have been unique in the results, but the one constant is that the hair is left much healthier and much softer than it once was.

I had the treatment done on December 2, 2008 and I was still having some positive results as of today...9/28/09....That is 10 months!!!!!!! They only promise it will last Up to 4 months. My result is different than the first 6 months of course, but when I blow dry my hair it is still silky smooth and super straight. Today at the Pennsylvania Beauty Expo in Hershey Pa, I learned that they have a new product out called "Color Lock" . I purchased a bottle so I could try it, it is what I will call a "mini BKT" or mini brazilian keratin treatment. It can be great for those of you that want to just try the treatment and get a feel for it, with less time in my salon and less cost up front. It can be done immediately following a color service, or on it's own and will cost $45.00. I am please to say that I tried it tonight on my hair, to refresh my 10 month old BKT, and already my hair is silky smooth again...Amazing! I hope you all consider trying this or at least ask me about it next time I see you. There is not a lot of salons in our area that offer this system by Simply Smooth, and I have been trained to use and to educate other salons on the products. I have also done the service several times and feel very confident with the products.
